What is the Viva Mentorship Program?
The Viva Mentorship Program is a mentoring program open to all Viva members. We pair our mentees with a mentor selected for their motivation and professional expertise. The Program lasts for 6 months, during which we ask the mentors to meet at least 3 times, preferably face-to-face with their mentee. This is unique space for mentees to grow and mentors to pass on and share knowledge.
This year we are launching a C-suite program for mid-level executives who wish to develop further.
What is the process?
We will open the Program to mentees on January 6th, 2022. Each can choose 3 preferred mentors. We aim to pair the mentee up with either their first or second choice.
We always ask for validation of the mentee by the mentor before the official pair-up. Official Program 1st cohort launches in January, 2nd cohort launches in July. Viva is no longer involved in the Program once it begins, though we remain available if any questions arise on either side.
How do I apply?
To participate in the Mentorship Program, you will have to be a Viva member, so please sign up for membership here. After you have signed up as a member, please contact us via email (firstname.lastname@example.org or Virginie) or WeChat for the application form. Once you’ve filled out the application form, please send it to email@example.com. All mentor profiles are on our website here.
How are we matched?
Each mentee provides information and list of preferred mentors. We do our best so each mentee can have their first or second choice.
What is expected of me?
Openness to learn, concrete goals, and questions so the mentor can best help and address your needs.
