We are so excited to resume our events with you. Our November event is Speed Networking – one of our most popular events. We will also be launching the 2020-2021 Mentorship Programme and introducing you to our “new VIVA”.

It will be great fun and a fantastic opportunity to make new connections and get to know Viva mentors.

ABOUT SPEED NETWORKING

Viva’s Speed Networking event is designed to connect you with other professionals, with the structured process allowing each person to have the opportunity to interact with everyone attending the event.

ABOUT THE VIVA MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME

The Viva Mentorship Programme is a mentoring program open to all Viva members. We pair our mentees with mentors selected by their motivation and professional expertise. The Programme lasts for 6 months, during which we ask the mentors and mentees to meet at least 3 times, preferably face-to-face. This is a unique space for mentees to grow and mentors to share and pass on knowledge.

This year we are launching a C-suite program for mid-level executives who wish to further develop themselves.

ABOUT VIVA

Mission, Vision and History

Viva was founded in 2008 to fill a gap that existed in Beijing’s business community – a platform dedicated to bringing together professional women and allowing for the sharing of ideas and opportunities as well as challenges and vulnerability.

Another important gap was the need to create a space that allowed women to connect and build a professional network as diverse as the business community in Beijing.

Based on the above, Viva’s mission was crafted around three pillars: to connect, to learn and to inspire.  Twelve years on, the reason that Viva continues to thrive is because it has kept at its core these three pillars that today hold as strongly as they did at that first event in 2008.

Characteristic of Beijing, over time the expat members have come and gone, but their commitment to the association has remained strong.   As a result, Viva has created a truly unique global footprint.

 

 

Note: Cancellations are accepted and refunds provided until 48 hours before the event (until 18:30 on November 24th, 2020) as that is when we inform the venue of the participant numbers. After that, we are unable to provide refunds.
